About usمن نحن
Al-Quds Community Centre is a non-profit organisation keeping Palestinian culture, history and language alive, and sharing them with everyone in Australia.

Who we are
Al-Quds Community Centre (AQCC) provides cultural services to the Palestinian community in Australia and to anyone who wants to learn. We help families stay connected to the history and language of their homeland, and we create ways for our community to take a full part in Australian life.
What we do
Heritage and history
Learning about the history of Palestine, its people and its places, so the next generation knows where they come from.
Language
Helping children and adults keep our language alive, at home and in the community.
Community and belonging
Activities that help our community feel at home in the wider Australian society, and events like Palestinian Cultural Day that bring everyone together.
Understanding
Building understanding in both directions: of Australian culture within our community, and of Palestinian history, culture and the Palestinian cause across the Australian Muslim community and Australian society as a whole.
Independent and open to everyone
AQCC has no political affiliation. We work with all political parties, groups and institutions, and with people from all walks of life, wherever it helps us serve our community and our goals.
Palestinian Cultural Day
Our biggest day of the year. The 8th Annual Palestinian Cultural Day is on Sunday 15 November 2026 at Parry Park, Lakemba, and everyone is welcome.
